About Us
Who is behind this site · Credentials · Accountability
Luminous Equilibrium is an independent, non-commercial information resource dedicated to mental health in Luxembourg. It is created and maintained by Yves Deckenbrunnen. For over ten years Yves has engaged personally with mental health — learning about it, living with it, and continuing treatment with medication to this day. This site is not built from a distance; it is built from lived experience, combined with careful reference to recognised clinical sources and Luxembourgish health institutions.
Our editorial approach
Every page on this site is written to be accurate, compassionate and easy to understand. We describe mental health conditions in plain language, summarise commonly recognised symptoms and treatment options, and point to where people in Luxembourg can find professional help. We do not offer medical advice, give diagnoses, or replace a consultation with a qualified clinician. Our aim is to lower the threshold to seeking help — to make the first step a little less heavy.
Accountability & sources
Because mental health information carries real consequences, we hold ourselves to a clear standard of accountability. The institutions, directories and services we link to are recognised Luxembourgish health bodies and professional associations. We encourage every reader to verify information through the official sources below and to consult a licensed professional for any personal health concern.
Ministry of Health (Ministère de la Santé)
The Luxembourg government ministry responsible for national health policy, including mental health strategy and public health programs.
Société Luxembourgeoise de Psychologie (SLP)

Collège Médical
